In the summer of 2019, I got an opportunity to intern with the Department of Wildlife Protection, Leh, an experience that would prove to be both challenging and unforgettable.

In the time that I spent here, I traversed through the mesmerizing valleys, braved icy streams, and navigated across vast swathes of the cold desert. The sheer adrenaline rush of carrying a camera and tripod on my shoulders as I explored this unique landscape is something I will cherish forever.
